Ciao!
I finalllllly got my film developed from our trip to Italy, so I’m reliving the magic of Puglia! Puglia seems to be theee spot for many the past couple summers. It’s been on my radar for years, but hadn’t made it until this year when some dear friends invited us to a fabulous birthday party there. You didn’t have to twist my arm! As we were along for the ride with big squad, our gracious hosts organized a wonderful itinerary for a week full of swimming, eating, dancing and even got to play a little tennis! A lot of you asked for our fave spots so here you go…
A few things to keep in mind… Puglia is quite a large area, so be sure to look at the map when planning your trip. For us, everything was about a 20-30 minute drive in one direction or another, so a car is a must. 3 words I would use to describe Puglia are rustic, chill and desolate… in a good way! It’s definitely not crowded… at least the towns we visited were very quaint and cute. It feels like a part of Italy where Italians live and I love that! The masserias are gorgeous and inspirational design wise. Life feels slow and simple here, so if you’re looking to chill the f out and get some space and probably not run into anyone you know, Puglia may be for you.
